Tsumori always have those dotted bags as a gift for everyone and the invitation is always this blow up doll, in different patterns each season. I have just kept mine like this but I know some people who put them in their bath tub. Anyway, they are lovely and so is her collection. So much hand painted pieces they could really be Haute Couture.
This season was a lot of knits, all cashmere it seemed, when I saw the collection in the show-room the day after …
I did very few runway photos, me and my camera were not getting along right then, it was doing some really strange things that I did not understand. My favorite pieces from the show-room are not here and the story I wanted to do did not get done. By far too short time in Paris, this time. That was really difficult to accept and surrender into.
This piece I really liked, there were some more pieces in this pattern that I would have loved to have…and the leggings…and the shoes…!
And this wrap sweater with woolen pants! Wow! I am a “touch and feel” person so everything comes alive in a different way in the show-room where I can do that and also try them on. What a gift!
Pretty, pretty! Wool an Leather!
In Tsumori land it is always PARTY with FAIRY-TALES! Even knits have their fairy-tale stories.
Such a beautiful shape and mix of fabrics, the solid wool and transparent silk with pearl embroideries.
CHANEL style! Have seen that with many designers, the Chanel touch. Elegance!
Back-stage. Shoes being put in their boxes…
all the clothes on their hangers ready for transport…
and the room where the show was at the hotel Westin, empty!

Tsumori and I at the cafe Marly after the show. Me in my Tsumori dress that i Love! Her collections are very colorful and with a lot of drawings and my personal style is much more simple, but the pieces that I have of hers are a perfect balance for me to add that extra MAGIC to my nordic simplicity. And again…the meeting of the japanese and the swedish soul seems to reflect in the clothes. I love this woman and her husband and the whole design team and I am very grateful to know that they are all well and not physically affected by the events in Japan.
Outside my window a tree in full bud…springtime is here!
