I was contacted by Gabrieli Galimberti, an italian photographer on a mission around the world. He travels and sleeps on peoples sofas, stays no more than 4 days and does 5 different stories during that time for an italian magazine called D. He set out to go to 10 countries on every continent, so far he has ben to almost three. Started in Alaska, has now been in Stockholm and just left for Bergen in Norway. He is brave …and bold…and as it turned out, also very handsome, friendly, intelligent… does interesting stories…and takes great photos! I was delighted to meet him. We spent one day together in Stockholm while he did a story on me, the “celebstory” from Sweden. It was Aia Judes who had recommended me to him. He was not after the latest big star but “something else”, so the circumstances plus time and space made me the one. And while he was doing his story on me I did mine on our day together…
crossing over the bridge to Skeppsholmen, where this graffiti caught my interest, then turning left alog the water…
finding this couple dancing salsa…great! See how the their clothes fit the graffiti. I like that!
I also like this outburst of passion in the so discreet Stockholm!
The boats are pieces of art in themselves…
wood has been piled up for cold days ahead.
After lunch at the Modern museum.
Arty livingspace from Oddbirds
very instant moment art
wished I had a car to take these pieces with me home…but i did not
Mostly we walked ,talked and played around
Gabrieli found it a bit challenging to be photographed, he liked it better behind the camera.
And I like it…mostly it comes so easy. It is a way to relate.
I will show the pictures he took of me, later. It was a good day. I feel so blessed with all the moments.
