I det här inlägget blev jag frågad om jag inte kunde jämföra Moondust från Makeup Geek med Patina från MAC. Här kommer jämförelsen!

Som ni ser är Patina mycket varmare än Moondust, men de är lika mörka och har samma koppriga glöd. Ingen av dem är pang boom-pigmenterade utan man får bygga upp dem till önskad täckgrad. Med skimriga skuggor tycker jag att det är en jättebra sak eftersom de gör sig så bra applicerade tunt vilket en matt skugga inte gör. Med dessa, särskilt Patina, är det första som syns på huden det koppriga skimret, och ju mer du bygger desto mer syns grundfärgen på skuggan. Båda nyanserna är fantastiska, så egentligen är det bara en fråga om smak (eller hoardingbesvär) om du behöver båda. Men dupes/dubletter är de inte!

In this post I was asked to compare Moondust from Makeup Geek with Patina from MAC. Here’s the comparison!

As you can see Patina is a lot warmer than Moondust, but they’re just as dark and has got the same coppery glow. None of them are super pigmented, you’ll have to build them up to get the desired opacity. I think that’s a great thing with shimmery shadows because they look so good applied sheer which doesn’t work with a matte shadow. With these, especially Patina, the first thing that shows up on the skin is the coppery shimmer, and the more you build it up the base colour of the shadow shows up. Both shades are beautiful, so it’s just a question of taste (or hoarding problems) if you need both. But they aren’t dupes!

Not sure where and for how much you get MAC shadows in your country, but in Sweden they are $23 a pop.
