OPI “Wooden Shoe like to Know?”

Todays nails are brown, I’m wearing a polish from the Holland themed OPI spring collection. This is a cool brown shade with a fine copper shimmer. The shimmer is visible in flash pictures or in direct sunlight/under a lamp, but apart from that it’s quite shy and the shimmer is barely visible. It’s still very pretty though, this time I actually think that the base colour is what’s interesting! I rarely feel comfortable or good looking when wearing brown polish but this cool shade feels elegant and fresh. Doesn’t look muddy (greyish brown/taupe coloured polishes, are there any colours more boring?) or fecal. That’s good, right?

I’m wearing two coats in this picture, should probably have applied a third because it looks a tad splotchy in pictures. Not visible in real life though, so you should definitely get away with two coats.

I don’t really like brown nail polishes that much – but this one, with the copper shimmer, is beautiful! :)

Thanks for this swatch! I would pass this one without a notice because I don’t have brown polishes much in favour. But the shimmer makes it exceptional!
A few weeks ago, I intended to buy a very similar polish from ANNY Nails (available in Douglas – don’t know if this chain of perfumeries is available in Sweden), a shade called “Must-have” – for me, it was a must-have indeed but I didn’t buy it anyway. Just don’t trust this brand because I don’t know it. Maybe OPI is alright… I hope so. And I’ll try it out.
