Today I did a slightly different smokey eye with the golden Liquid Metal from Illamasqua, a cream shadow with a high shine metallic finish. It creases quite quickly if you don’t apply eyeshadow or powder on top, but in this case I really like the creased effect. But I guess it’s not for the perfectionist. If you want the look to be more neat than grunge you can use a metallic eyeshadow instead, but that won’t give the same high shine as a cream product.

Did you put some gold on your lips too? Amazing!

  4. Ania writes

Vilken kombo! Me likey :)
Och brow-highlightern är riktigt ovanlig och häftig!

P.S. SJUKT hemskt att höra om UD. :(

Hi Viola, I wonder if the liquid metals from Illamasqua crease with primer. Also are they easy to apply? Are they ‘buttery’? Thanks, this is a super creative look!

    • Viola, Killer Colours writes to Ra

Ra: Incredibly buttery and smooth, but in the makeup you can see in the picture I’m wearing primer + matte shadow + a really really thin layer of Liquid Metal. It is a pure cream so it creases on top of anything. You’d have to set it well to wear it without any creasing!

  26. Ra writes

Now I thought, it would also look good with just a touch of Lord & Berry Black Red lipstick with Soltice dabbed on it :)
