Space Oddity

You know when you find products with names so fantastic that you just have to get them? That’s exactly what hapened with Space Oddity, a shimmery blue shadow from MaddStyle Cosmetics. Everything Bowie-esque gives me cravings, so this shadow was a very welcome addition to my makeup collection.

In this makeup look I let Space Oddity have all the focus, with some enhancing help of a shimmery pale purple shadow. I highlighted the inner corner with it plus sweeped it over the blended edges of the blue shadow to cool them down. When you blend blue shadows out they often turn turquoise because of the skin shining through, so by blending with a bit of purple in the blush helps keep the cool tone. To max the space-y 3D feeling out I dabbed the purple shadow sheerly in the middle of the eyelids.

    Beautiful as always!
Some years ago I just bought Kat von D eyeshadows because of the names – motörhead (deep black of course!) and Sixxshooter (glam gay)….I really felt the rock n roll when wearing them!

LOL – I mean “(Glam GRAY)” not gay…
