Glitter Gal “White Sparkle”, yay Nail Mail!

Idag kom äntligen tre efterlängtade lack från Nail Mail! Nail Mail finner du här, de fungerar som en stor sambeställning, varje månad skall nagellack från ett speciellt märke beställas och du som kund kan välja vilka nyanser du vill ha till styckepris. Karin bakom företaget plockar ihop en order, beställer alltihop och skickar ut till er månaden därpå.

Nu var hon så snäll och erbjöd mig att testa tjänsten tre gånger (trots att jag använt den förut och betalat som vem som helst) så jag slog till när det var dags för australiensiska Glitter Gal! Det blev dessvärre något fel med utskicket från GG så jag fick inte holografiskt röda Code Red jag var sugen på, men jag fick plocka något annat kul ur överskottet istället så Teal Green fick det bli. Inte så tokigt det heller.

Så, här ser ni två lager av White Sparkle, ett halvskirt gräddvitt lack kromat i rött och med holografiskt glitter. En jäkla kaka-på-kaka-skapelse men den är fin. Glimrar som änglavingar! Den rörliga bilden visar litegrann av hur vackert glittret är.

Today a pack of three longed for polishes arrived! They were from the Swedish company Nail Mail which is a webshop that holds large orders from nail polish companies. Every month there’s a specific nail polish brand on the wall, so you place your order stating which shades you want and Karin behind the company picks the collected order together, orders, then ships it out to the customers the following month. It’s such a great idea!

She was kind enough to let me try it out three times (even though I’ve already used it and paid like any other person) so I went for it when it was time for the Australian brand Glitter Gal! There was some trouble with the GG order so I didn’t get the holographic red Code Red which I really wanted, but I got to choose from the surplus instead so Teal Green replaced it. Not bad either.

o, here you see two coats of White Sparkle, a semi sheer cream white polish with a red chrome and holographic glitter. A classic “too much” kind of composition but it’s beautiful. Sparkles like angel wings! The animated picture shows slightly how beautiful the glitter is.

Finishes are given most justice in the moving picture, while colours in the still picture.

A-England Heavenly Quotes polishes, “And the Moonbeams…” + “She Walks in Beauty”

Yaaay, de är här! A-England släppte nyligen tre nya lack i en kollektion vid namn Heavenly Quotes, lack döpta efter kända dikter. Här är två av dem! Går att köpa i A-Englands webshop för £9 (ca 105 kr).

And the Moonbeams… (inspirerad av Percy Bysshe Shelley) är ett blekt grönguldigt skimmer, det är skirt och spöklikt och jag ÄLSKAR det. Det påminner mig om en smutsigare version av China Glaze White Cap. Kommer troligen vara fantastiskt över andra lack, eller byggt upp till täckande på egen hand.

She Walks in Beauty (inspirerad av George  Byron) har samma spöklika guldbas men med rosigt glitter i olika storlekar. Det ser überromantiskt ut, som en uppblingad viktoriansk klänning. Skulle ha sett fab ut på Kirsten Dunst i Sofia Coppola-filmen Marie Antoinette. Helt olikt allat annat jag äger.

And the Moonbeams… (inspired by Percy Bysshe Shelley) is a pale greenish gold shimmer, it’s sheer and spooky and I just LOVE it. It reminds me of a dirtier version of China Glaze White Cap. Will probably look fantastic for layering but also built up on its own.

She Walks in Beauty (inspired by George Byron) has that same spooky golden base but with rose coloured glitter in different sizes. It looks über romantic, like a victorian era dress gone bling. Would have looked awesome on Kirsten Dunst in the Marie Antoinette movie by Sofia Coppola. Not similar to anything that I own.
