Bdellium Tools 731

This brush is such a treasure! The perfect tool for defining lashlines. I just apply my top lash mascara with the regular wand go get maximum length, coat the Bdellium Tools 731 with mascara and wiggle it at the base of the lashes from underneath, defining and darkening the base to make it look thicker. A great way to eliminate that pale stripe at the base of the lashes that you easily get when doing smokey eyes or dark eyeliners.

For the bottom lashes I get some more product on the brush, swish it through to the tips and then push product into the roots. Depending on how hard you push you get different looks, here I went all in and made the roots solid black. It still look a lot softer than an eyeshadow or eye pencil!

Parisian Pink

I’ve worn stupid amounts of dark brown eye pencil lately, I apply it in this thick smudgy cat eye shape and smudge it with my fingers, dab some highlighter on the inner corner and pack LOADS of mascara on. Mascara smudges, asymmetrical lines, uneven blends? Don’t care. Totally obnoxious and I love it!

To get that dirty golden sheen I first line the top lid with an intense sparkly gold eye pencil (Make Up Store Czar), then I go over it with a dark shimmery brown (Make Up Store Seduced By The Dark) on top. It makes the result a lot deeper and softer than if I would do it the other way with the gold on top of the brown. This method works great with purples, greens, any glistening shade with something darker and more neutral on top.

Frenchie

Would you look at that! A makeup look from last month that I forgot to post. Sadly I can’t remember what I wore on my skin/brows, but the lips are ColourPop Lippie Stix in Frenchie! I LOVE this intense red, total cartoon lip.
