Nudie

Todays makeup turned out to be some kind of classic wedding-y Victorias Secret look. Glowy bronzed skin and a soft shimmery smokey eye with a defined crease, topped with glossy neutral lips.

The eyeshadows that I used are a bunch from the Viva la Diva Nudie eyeshadow palette, all applied without a primer!

And what was I wearing two years ago?

It’s always fun to look back at old makeup looks, so let’s see what I wore during the spring of 2012!

Judging by the pictures I was totally into smokey lower lashlines, glowing higlighters and fun lippies. I remember that I often wore my brows combed through with only a clear brow gel, when I didn’t I wore them very well defined. Love the brow shape I had back then! I miss my dark hair aswell.. Hmmm..

Gunsmoke

Here’s my new years makeup, a messy sparkly smokey eye with natural skin and lips! I had some kind of Velvet Goldmine glam rock vibe going, I feel like it’s easier to “get away” with heavy glitter if it’s worn messy. The glitter that I used is quite rough, it’s dark grey Gunsmoke from Lit Cosmetics in cut #3, their glitters are graded on how fine the particles are and #2 is the standard cut, so the #3 has a lovely glam rock feel!

Happy new year friends, I hope you have a wonderful evening!

The smallest difference can change a look completely

This year I’ve been all about tweaking a simple look into looking completely different each time, I’ve played a lot with structures (shiny/glossy/matte etc), removing one component of the makeup and amping another one up, enhancing my warm or cool undertones with certain colour schemes, using the same product but with different application methods.. You know the drill!

What have been your beauty interest this year?
