Femme Fatale Cosmetics eyeshadows – Sugar Rush, Star’s Sorrow, The Art Of Peacocking

Today ten eyeshadows that I ordered from Femme Fatale Cosmetics arrived, I’m so happy, they make some of my favourite eyeshadows in the entire planet! Super beautiful combinations that sparkle and shine in contrasting colours. Here I collected the three purple shades that I picked out (yay for enhancing green eyes!), because isn’t it better to dive into a few in detail like this instead of smacking all ten up? Or am I wrong?

However, you can pick between three different sizes when you’re ordering. Full size, mini (that comes in jars) and samples (in bags), the ones I have are mini. I would have to work really hard to finish one of these jars, so in my opinion: Go for minis if you’re not into monstrous amounts of eyeshadow!

Put your spending pants on and visit their website.

Sugar Rush

“Bright blue-toned purple with soft turquoise-green shimmer.”
A really soft shadow that applies smooth and evenly. The effect is beautiful, it almost looks chromed. Best out of these three In my opinion.

Star’s Sorrow

“Vibrant violet purple base with strong blue/aqua shimmer and sparks.”
Super bright and SPARKLY shadow, the aqua shimmer is gorge. I hope that it doesn’t lose a lot of sparkle when blended. Almost as good as Sugar Rush application wise.

The Art Of Peacocking

Murky mid-tone purple base with shimmer the goes green at an angle to the light.”
Vibrant and murky at the same time, looks really cool with its subtle low-light shimmer even though the green doesn’t really show on my skin. Driest one in texture but not bad.

Smitten Polish “Nuclear Sunshine”

Second Smitten summer polish, this one is called Nuclear Sunshine and it’s probably named as accurate as it gets. LOVE this freaky shade! It’s a strange yellowy green, it’s as if it had a drop of olive in it, but still has that poisonous acid look. Soooo cooool! The holo effect is not too crazy but it totally suits the style of the polish in my opinion. Three coats were needed but they dried fast.

Smitten Polish “Girl Sprouts”

Girl Sprouts from the Smitten summer collection, a bright grass green holographic polish that makes me HAPPEH! It’s just as pretty in the shade as it is in bright sunlight. Two coats on most nails, a third on a few nails where I applied a little thinner. Dried fast like holos often do.

Lyster

The weather was noooot fun today, hot and super moist, everything was sticky. Instead of packing a bunch of even stickier makeup on I did very little. Some slight colour correcting by applying my regular foundation almost as a face cream, just rubbed a thin layer on with my hands. To feel a little extra safari I applied my two favourite glowy face products – Manasi Makeup Lyster Cream Bronzer to create some luminous shape and LUSH Feeling Younger Skin Tint as a highlighter on all high points. See the colour of the highlighter? It has a really unique “orange creamsicle” kind of colour and I’ve even managed to point it out on other people when they’re wearing it just because of the unique shade. Two products that work great together!

Shimmering Sun

Todays look! I layered two lippies (a bright orange and a pinky coral red) so the lips would match the rest of my look, a yellow dress and coral red nails, and it turned into a bright and warm coral red. I should have something that looks just like this but without all the mixing, shouldn’t I? The eyeshadow matches aswell, a super soft wash of a bright peach with gold shimmer. I love to wear a consistent colour theme.
