Here’s a bunch of fall appropriate nail polishes (as if you couldn’t wear whatever colour you want anytime of the year, but you get my point), click the pictures to find a blog post about the polish!
Todays look! I’m wearing a sparkly red OCC Lip Tar called Role Play, seen swatched here earlier today. To tie the eye look together with the lips I first applied a plummy lip pencil as an eyeliner on my top lid, smudge, then my smokey purple eye pencil a little closer to the lashline, then smudge again. It gives a delicate hint of plummy pink that flirts with the lip colour without looking matchy-matchy.
Perfume of the day:
The OCC fall collection 2013 called Moderncraft is inspired by 1920′s cabaret looks and the old Berlinian art scene (See the entire collection + promo pictures over at Phyrras blog). Do I even have to tell you that I’m in love? The three products that I just had to try were the three darkest Lip Tars. The Lip Tar is heavily pigmented liquid lip paint that you apply with a brush, a modern cult product for us lipstick lovers.
I bought mine from the OCC website, had to pay customs though but it was totally worth it.
Role Play – Deep maroon with red pearl
Anita – Browned burgundy
Black Metal Dahlia – Blackened burgundy with red pearl
I’m SO EXCITED to try all of these!! Which shade is your favourite?
I’m so excited to wear beautiful bright lipsticks again, it’s definitely the best thing about fall! Getting back to fancier makeup habits you know. Here’s a scarlet red beauty from Make Up Store called.. well.. Scarlet! Matte, thick and ultra creamy, like a vintage dream. I paired it with my favourite eye makeup right now, a quick smudge of a this shimmery plum coloured pencil. I love what it does with my eye colour.
Perfume of the day:
I know that I’ve shown you this beauty before, but I’m wearing it again and I just can’t stop looking at my nails! White Sparkle from Glitter Gal is a sheer off white shade with a red/yellow chrome and holo glitter. I’m wearing two coats in these pictures, three would be better if you want it more opaque.
Also, Peggy snuck in and told me to say hi!
