I love these 2 songs of Angel Olsen <3
I also love the Silverwig…
One of my favourite acts from LA is Ty Segall, he is insanely good live… If you ever get the chance to see him do it! It’s soooo good.
Found some old pics from Vulkanos West Coast Tour supporting The Cheatahs last fall. It was a great tour!!! I was the number 1 driver and it was craaaaazy long distances between the cities… Like 16h driving some days. Luckily Marcus helped me. But it was crazy fun too ;) The Ford van we drove in was the shittiest car on this planet, driving uphills it almost stopped haha and in San Fransico the light wouldn’t turn off so we left it on for the night. The car battery died of course so we had to call a service guy to jumpstart it. I ate all shitfood there ever is on the road so that in the end of the tour a Subway sandwich felt fresh in comparison to everything else. The glamour on tour is infinite LOL. But it’s so much fun.
Many cool, talanted and driven musicians, songwriters, artists and producers go to LA because of the music scene. Here’s a few of the ppl I’ve met. Shima Niavarani, Victoria Bergsman aka Taken By Trees, Fredrika Ribbing aka MIYNT, Cissi Efraimsson of course ;-), Billy Galewood, Stefan Gräslund, Sunna Ardal & Yoann Durant aka SUN, Arvida Byström. Many Swedes LOL <3
Cissi, I and Roxanne took a trip to Joshua Tree to get out of the city, get some fresh air and new inspiration. Joshua Tree is a national park in the desert outside of Los Angeles close to Palm Springs, and it’s breathtaking beautiful. It’s given inspiration to many artists through the years. Keith Richards and Gram Parsons used to go there and watch space connecting with aliens and trip out. One time I went on a guided tour through the park and had some champagne at the place where Grams friends tried to burn up his coffin. It feels like walking on the moon, and space is so close. I mean we are always in space but it’s easy to forget that while living in bigger cities. If you ever get the chance, go to Joshua Tree.
