Cheap Monday gives good nostalgia. At their FW’14 show they took us back to high school with playful bobs and slow dances. I caught up with Redken lead stylist Rudi Lewis backstage.”The theme of the whole show is a kind of retro slow dance like you had in high school” Rudi explained. ”It’s a bit nerdy. The nerds of the school are coming out today. I based the hair on Margot Tenenbaum. She’s trying to be cool but the boys aren’t there yet. The boys are more awkward than the girls (laughs). The girls have a blonde thick, slightly wiggy bob with a single clip on the side. They all look exactly the same. I used Quick Tease to get volume underneath and Fashion Works to finish it all off.”
