These are lyrics to Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers” in my mom’s handwriting. This was the song that was playing while she passed away so it carries a lot of meaning to it and reminds me that she is with me always

Both of the themes behind these tattoos tie in together – to never give up, to keep trying, always; and that it doesn’t matter how many times you fall down, but how many times you get back up. I got them both as a self-reminder and as a symbol of strength.
