This is my first tattoo, and I wanted to make it meaningful, so I got it in memory of my dad. The wing spells “pappa” (which means dad in Swedish) and the numbers under are the year my dad was born and the year he died. I’m in love with it!
Dove : Freedom, wanderlust, no attach.
This is my first tattoo, I did it to remember myself to me strong in difficult times and specially when family members, people that i love, dies. One dove stands for my grandpa.
“These are my arm tattoos. I have the words ‘run deep and run wild’ on my arm followed by the outline of a dove, Roman numerals to remind me of the date I met my Fiancé, the line from my favourite poem wrapped around my wrist for my mum, and a heart on my other wrist.”
Malou (Denmark) “I’ve been waiting to get this tattoo for two years. It’s my second, but I got it the same the as my first. Inspired by Disney’s Lilo & Stitch. The word and expression is so me. I ‘m in love with it. Family means everything, without them I’m nothing.”
Camilla (Sønderborg, Denmark) “My three little birds are similar to my two older sisters tattoo – we got them together, symbolising us and for me personally also freedom and traveling <3″
Juliette (Paris) “It’s the picasso’s dove of peace, she is free, as my father now, he died six months ago. She is tattooed on the left side, the side of my heart.”
