Reminds me of my time on Hawaii. The wave represents that i will always have the ocean close to me. I’m a surfer and the sea is my freedom.

In honour of my grandmother I have a tattoo of a stupa. When you touch the Buddha inside the stupa, you can make a wish. My grandmother made a wish: If her daughter could feel the pleasure of being a mom. One month later, I came.

an “ankh” inked in white on my right inside forearm.

It stands for eternal life or in some terms for joy of life and energy.

The dead also carry it at the time their souls are weighed or when they are aboard the Boat of the Sun God, as a sign that they seek this same immortality from the gods.
